Frank John Scheibli, P.Geol.

A former member of the APEGGA management team, Frank Scheibli, P.Geol., died Nov. 26, 2008, at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary. Based in APEGGA's Calgary office, Mr. Scheibli had been the Association's Manager, Geoscience Affairs, in 2006 and 2007.
Mr. Scheibli, 45, held a double undergraduate degree — in geology and geography — and a master's degree in geography, all from the University of Western Ontario. He had many years of experience in environmental consulting.
Before joining APEGGA's staff, Mr. Scheibli was a volunteer with the APEGGA Outreach Program. He had also served on the Environment Committee and Appeal Board.
Mr. Scheibli is survived by two daughters, his parents, two sisters and a brother. Memorial tributes may be made to a charity of the donor's choice or directly to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, www.kidney.ca.
